Some herbs, particularly Echinacea, may stimulate the immune system and potentially interfere with immunosuppressive treatments.  

- Pregnancy & Lactation: While Echinacea and Astragalus are generally considered safe for short-term use, consult your healthcare provider before using this tonic during pregnancy or breastfeeding to ensure it’s appropriate for you.  

- Autoimmune Conditions: Echinacea and Andrographis can stimulate immune function, which may exacerbate symptoms of autoimmune diseases (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis). If you have an autoimmune condition, use this tonic with caution and under the supervision of your healthcare provider.  

- Allergies & Sensitivities: If you are allergic to Asteraceae (daisy) family plants (e.g., ragweed, marigolds), use caution with Echinacea as it may cause allergic reactions, including skin rashes or asthma-like symptoms.  

- Blood Pressure Considerations: Astragalus may lower blood pressure, so if you have low blood pressure or are on medication to control it, monitor your levels closely while using this tonic.  

- Diabetes & Blood Sugar: Astragalu* may influence blood sugar levels, so individuals with diabetes or those taking medications to control blood sugar should monitor their levels and consult their healthcare provider before use.  

- Discontinue Before Surgery: Discontinue use 7 days prior to any scheduled general anaesthesia or surgery to avoid potential interactions with anesthesia or increased bleeding risk.  

- Excessive Use: High doses of Andrographis may cause gastrointestinal upset or liver toxicity. Always adhere to the recommended dosage and avoid long-term use without professional guidance.  

- Not a Replacement for Medical Advice: This tonic supports immune health but should not replace medical treatment for infections, chronic illness, or severe symptoms. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek professional medical advice.
